Blåljus Café

I was there on August 23, 2023. I was already on my way south and drove past. But I remembered that I had already passed it on my way north. So I turned around and parked. The owner's family was cleaning up outside, and I was worried the restaurant was closed. Far from it. After I asked, the owner's mother led me inside, showed me the most comfortable seat, and "treated" me to delicious coffee and cake. I will be back this year (2025). Then I'll enjoy the atmosphere longer and try a second slice of cake.

I passed by here at the end of June 2023, on my way to the North Cape. The owner allowed me to take photos of the station. Afterward, he invited me for a cup of coffee, which tasted very good, and told me that he wanted to turn the station building into a café. I wish him luck with his project. Thanks for the good coffee.

The two are super-friendly hosts and welcome everyone with open arms. I even got to try Bavarian Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) 😍

It's so, so beautiful there. Anna and Nick gave us a very warm welcome, and the place is highly recommended. If you drive past it, I highly recommend it.

For cyclists with tents on their way to the North Cape, and for everyone else, this is a place you absolutely must stop! A great welcome and very friendly hosts who are just starting out but make everything possible. We were given the guest room at short notice due to the forecast of bad weather. More to come...!

We happened upon this café (an old train station) by chance on the E45. After a very friendly welcome from the owner, we were able to enjoy his delicious coffee. Anyone passing by here on the E45 should definitely stop by; it's worth it.

We had actually already driven past the Blaljus Cafe. That would definitely have been a shame. Turning back was worth it. The coffee was great and the conversation with the owner was very interesting. We can definitely recommend a stop.

You're greeted by a very friendly host. The cakes are amazing! We immediately ordered seconds. The coffee is also delicious! The newly opened café, with its collection of rotating beacons and special signaling systems, is also a feast for the eyes… a stop by is 100% worth it.

Thank you very much for the delicious coffee, the very good hot chocolate and the really good plum cake. We will definitely come back when we are traveling in northern Sweden. We received such a warm welcome - thank you!

Very nice owner. Delicious cake, coffee, and hot chocolate at a very fair price. We highly recommend a visit here. It's the perfect place for emergency services enthusiasts.
